American International University is a member in standing of the Association for Quality Improvement in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). The Master of Education program has been fully accredited by AAQEP until June 30, 2026.

AIU’s Colleges of Media, Business and Science are a proud member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), a leading voice in preparation. AACTE represents more than 800 postsecondary institutions with teacher preparation programs dedicated to high-quality, evidence-based preparation that ensures teachers are prepared to teach all learners.

Kappa Delta Pi International Honora Society in Education

AIU’s Colleges of Media, Business and Science were proudly inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) International honour Society in September 2017. KDP was founded in 1911 to promote excellence in education and foster collegiality among teaching professionals. The association also supports teachers and their progress at all stages and levels of their teaching career. AIU represents the Alpha Kappa Iota chapter of the organization.

Epsilon Pi Tau International Technology Honour Society

AIU was proudly inducted into the Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT) International honour Society in January 2010. EPT was founded in 1929 to recognize academic excellence and distinguished practitioners in the fields of technology. The Society also supports scholars with exemplary research interests in technology and people who have significantly supported or advanced technological careers.
